Pork

We raise only the best pigs. Ourselves. Just for you!

Woodlot Pork

Our pigs are raised on our forested woodlot and eat grass, acorns, and whatever else they can root out. Their diet is supplemented with locally grown and milled GMO free grains along with our organic garden and orchard extras.

The pigs are of a mix of heritage breeds (usually Berkshire, Yorkshire, and Duroc) and are raised by us without growth hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. We treat them humanely and with respect.

Our pigs are processed at Caledonia Packing, a USDA inspected facility. All cuts are vacuum sealed, frozen, and labeled. Pork will store in your freezer at 0 degrees for up to one year. The butcher works with you to determine exactly how you want your pig cut, including bulk or link sausage and bratwurst options.
 
Fresh, local pork raised right by a farmer you can trust and put a face to. All natural, great tasting pork you will be proud to serve your family.

This year pork is available by the 1/2 or whole pig. You pay us a fixed price for the pig and you pay the processor for the butchering costs.

A whole pig equals approximately 160 pounds of meat (all cuts included). $650 to us and approximately $200 to the processor. That works out to $5.30 a pound.

1/2 pig equals approximately 80 pounds of meat (all cuts included). $325 to us and approximately $100 to the processor. That works out to $5.30 a pound.

All credit card payments are handled by a secure server at PayPal. Debit cards are accepted if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card or debit card.
